October 12, 2024The Heart of Des Moines Farmers Market Returns for Fourth Year!
Your second Saturdays will be as fun as ever this summer! Returning for a fourth year, the monthly Heart of Des Moines Farmers Market kicks off in River Bend on June 8th and runs through October 12th. Join us for fresh produce, local hand-made goods, free family fun, food, kid activities, music and more. Our goal is to build community in our beautiful neighborhood and we can’t do that without you.
Last year we saw nearly 500 neighbors, families, government leaders and friends! We’re hoping to have an even bigger season in 2024 and we want you to be part of the fun. Don’t miss a single Saturday!
The family friendly Heart of DSM Market is held from 4-7 p.m. at 6th & Washington on the second Saturday of the month from June through October rain or shine.

For the rest of 2024, we'll be meeting at Urban Dreams (1615 2nd Ave) and via Zoom. Current Zoom links are in our newsletter and on Facebook each month.
Everyone is welcome to attend River Bend Neighborhood meetings, and there’s no charge to attend. To become a member, the basic membership cost is $12 per person per year, or $24 per family. Membership dues cover a calendar year Jan-Dec. You can join or renew at the monthly general meeting, or do it right now at http://riverbendneighborhood.org/about-us-and-membership
